This role will suit someone who loves to be organised and thorough, and who thrives on the challenges associated with working in a fast-paced environment. A typical day might involve house inspections, sign-ups, responding to emails, liaising with agents, and attending to tenancy-related queries. This is your chance to utilise your professional expertise to make a difference.

He kōrero mōu | About You 

You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and find joy in finding solutions and helping others. You are an empathetic, innovative thinker with a good understanding of culturally appropriate delivery of social services. You have strong professional and personal ethics and demonstrated working experience in managing a portfolio of tenancies in the public or private sector.

What you will need for this role:

  • Tertiary qualification in Property Management or Level 4 Certificate in Residential Property Management with the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand
  • Extensive knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and other acts and regulations relevant to Property Management
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong commitment to compliance, quality, and risk management
  • Proficiency in using property management software (Palace)
  • Possess a compassionate and caring attitude and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing challenges such as homelessness
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
