He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role 
In this role you will respond to requests from staff for usage and fault assistance with their computers and equipment, desktop software, phones and client management software. You will also deliver training on relevant software and for staff as needed.

He kōrero mōu | About You 
You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and find joy in finding solutions and helping others. You will have working knowledge of the fundamental operations of a wide range of software, hardware and other office equipment. Crucially, you will also be great at communicating IT-related issues with members of staff who are less tech-savvy than you and upskilling them.

What you will need for this role:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or relevant filed
  • Strong customer-centred approach
  • Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and providing helpdesk support (helpdesk ticketing system)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
